19/07/2014 ~ #NicholasA ~ 7 Life Lessons From Benjamin Franklin. #7 Make an Impression!

You have to begin to tell the story of your life as you now want it to be and would love it to be told when you are gone and discontinue the tales of how it has been or of how it is ~ Esther & Jerry Hicks.

We have been learning great lessons from the life of Benjamin Franklin and the last but not the least we would be looking at in this series is “Making an Impression”.

The current era we live in is characterized by so much sophistication and improvement compared to what it was 20, 50, and 100 years ago. We have better means of communication, we have better control over many sicknesses and diseases, we can move across great distances within a short time frame, we can get as much information as we need with little efforts and rite from the comfort of our homes, we can predict the weather and we can do so many other wonderful things that were not possible in generations past.

All of these were made possible by the men and women who walked this earth before us. Some found the principles and laws to achieve these things, others applied those findings in creating these beautiful things while yet another group worked hard at making these things available and ensured they were passed on to us.

That's why anytime you enjoy any of these things you always have reasons to appreciate their works and their names will never be forgotten cos' they made an impression.

Benjamin Franklin said, “Many people die at twenty five and aren’t buried until they are seventy five.” Because their works and deeds outlived them.

I hope you’re not dead, I hope you haven’t achieved all that you’re going to achieve; I hope your best days are in front of you and I think they are.

Our ultimate goals as human should be to               “Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.”         Until you do that, you have not actually lived.

It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things ~ Leonardo Va Vinci.

Go happen to things and be sure to leave a good impression behind.

The World is waiting for you!

Have a wonderful weekend relaxation and celebration.

I honour you!
